The students combined background knowledge and research to identify, describe, and illustrate algebraic linear equations. The students generated digital presentations to share their findings with the class and shared reflections about what they learned via Answer Garden.

The students in Mr. Wright's english class used Glogster, Noodle Tools, and GAFE resources to select and evaluate sources, take notes, and curate those resources to create an essay and a tombstone about a deceased author. The tombstones were highlighted in an author's cemetery and peer reviewed by their classmates.

2016 - 2017 Classes
Book Pass7th & 8th grade English classes learned about different literature genres and had the opportunity to fall in love with a book during their "speed dates" with books!

Catalog Scavenger HuntWhat students viewed as a simple lesson in using the library’s catalog and a cool way to win a bag of candy was actually a lesson teaching them the first steps in the research process. Students were taught a more accurate method of locating print resources in the library and how to narrow down search terms in order to perform more precise searches.

Match the Music to The GenreThe students recalled prior knowledge obtained from the Book Pass(Genre) and Scavenger Hunt(Locations) lessons to complete this activity using iPads and music!
